Most recently, as Vice President of Technologies at Kindred Healthcare, Scott drove the conception, design and development of a proprietary Electronic Medical Record (EMR), saving the organization tens of millions of dollars. This solution advanced Kindred’s Health Information Exchange strategy and pioneered the development of the organization’s mobile-based capabilities. Earlier in his career, Scott worked as an emergency medical technician and nurse, working in hospital ICU/CCUs, on MedSurg floors, in nursing homes and in home health/hospice settings.
